When I used this arrowroot instead of wheat flour or cornstarch to thicken the gravy at our big family holiday meal, my mother pronounced me "Head Gravy Maker". My MOM, you guys! I add it to beef stew, dipping sauces, and some baked goods, and have never had any issue with the Bob's Red Mill brand. It comes in a resealable bag, and one that actually works! Very handy to have in your cabinet, especially if you're avoiding grains.
