How COVID-19 Is Affecting ShopAIP
I've been meaning to send this information out for quite sometime now, but honestly time is exactly what I've been lacking lately.
First and foremost, I'd like to thank all my customers, both new and returning. You all have been so gracious with me and it has been my pleasure to continue to serve our community during these unprecedented times.
We will continue to serve everyone, as quickly and effectively as we can, while still safeguarding our own health.
As many of you are aware, I am personally in the at-risk category, being both immuno-suppressed and having a severe lung disease. Additionally, I also have elementary school-aged children and like all parents, I have to make room for them to participate in distance learning.
As you may imagine, ShopAIP has experienced an increase in orders just as grocery stores around the nation have been inundated with shoppers stocking up on all they need. Due to the virus and the situation with children being away from school, this has been coupled with a decrease in staff and a schedule of everyone trying to work around one another in order to practice social distancing.
We've always been proud of how quickly we've been able to get orders out the door and how infrequently we have popular items out of stock. We very much have appreciated everyone's patience.
We are typically not more than one day later than usual and we have implemented a " Pre-Order" system for products that go out of stock, but have an estimated arrival date. When you Pre-Order an item, we will ship out your entire order when those item(s) arrive. This not only allows you to proceed with your order without needing to be notified when items come back in or remember to check back, but it also allows us to know if we have ordered enough inventory to meet the incoming and ever-changing demand for items.
